When and why we collect your information

When you sign up for an event, Wiki Loves Living Heritage collects information for the purpose of arranging the specific activity you are registering for. We will use the information you provide to:

  • Run the associated event or meeting
  • Communicate with you further

You may decide to allow us to keep your information for an extended period or only for the purpose of the event.

  • Remove the data after the event
  • Keep the contact information to inform me about Wiki loves Living Heritage activities in 2023 and remove after
  • Keep the contact information for future activities

The online event may also be arranged in collaboration with our partner using their online platform. In these cases, the partner is responsible for managing the registration data.

  • Name (in your preferred form)*
  • Country or region
  • Questions regarding the program
  • Permission to keep or request to delete the contact information*
  • Consent to share contact information with regional organizations
  • Permission to record and share the recording*

Sharing

No publishing: The information we collect will not be shared publicly.

Access: Raw data will only be shared with the project team who are subject to non-disclosure obligations.

Protection

How long we keep your information

The raw data we collect will be deleted, de-identified, or aggregated within 6 months unless permission is given for another extent.
