Wiki Loves Muziris is a GLAM initiative taken by Wikimedians of Kerala User Group to document the Muziris project, History of Muziris, Artifacts found in Pattanam excavation by Kerala Council for Historical Research.

These events were conducted as a part of Wikisangamotsavam 2018.

First Edition[edit]

First edition of Wikiloves Muziris 2019 was happened on 5th January 2019. Ranjithsiji, Kannan V M, Ambady Anand S are participated in this event. The event was started on 9:30 AM by taking photographs of buildings and street near Kottappuram. This was the pilot event for planning to go to more places at Muziris Heritage Project. The event was concluded by visiting Pattanam Childrens Museum where artifacts from Pattanam Excavation project are exibited.

Second Edition[edit]

Second edition of Wikiloves Muziris 2019 was happened on 13 January 2019. Ranjithsiji, Kannan V M, Mujeeb Rahman K, Siji R are participated in this event. The event was started by visiting Kottappuram fort (Cranganore Fort). And the team gone through all the majour historical places near Kodungallur to document Muziris Heritage Project. The event was concluded by visiting cherai beach at the evening.

Third Edition[edit]

Third Edition of Wikiloves Muziris 2019 was happened on 21st January 2019 in association with Wikisangamotsavam 2018. A team of 30 people participated in this event. The team taken a boat to reach the destinations and photographs are taken. The event was started from Kottappuram Muziris boat jetty at 10 AM and ended on same place at evening 5.30 PM.
