Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
Yes, Tamil Wikimedians are extremely happy with with Wikimania celebration. We had a wonderful event packed with energy and joy. We had around 60 users from various parts of Tamilnadu. We invited special guest former director of Archeology Mr. Santhalingam. We had continuous discussions and session throughout the day. We conducted wiki marathon workshop in Chennai using unspent amount of wikimania scholarship in AU-KBC Research Centre. which had around 20 participants and 5 volunteers.

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
We able to meet in-person and celebrate the wikimania. Refreshments and Tshirts had received good feedback. We able to chat with each other even after official closure. Able to reach more audience in Madurai. We are happy to see few young participants along with their parents. Learnt lot and shared long after long time. Vipin from Foundation shared details about wikipedialibrary. More details are at notepad
- What did not work so well?
Initial plan was stagged due to delay in scholarship imbursement from Foundation, how ever we managed with secondary source and celebrated as planned. Due to this we have dropped few activities at last moment. unable to join or invite online particiapants due to poor connectivity issue. We will learn from these experience and plan accordingly in future.
