Abstract
[edit]Promoting Wikipedia by Ukrainian Wikimedians and Wikipedia’s reputation as another space for scholar profile brought some visible results over the past decade. Along with hosting edit-a-thon events and encouraging library users to edit Wikipedia, academic librarians are also getting involved in editing. They add content as part of their professional activity: articles about professors and academia seems to be on the top of their interest in this process. And by reviewing those articles, I observe some advantages and disadvantages of such work. Let's figure what prevails...
