Resume our work with various institutions of the educational sector, for example internships with Brusov State University, Mesrop Mashtots University, Yerevan State University Ijevan Branch and Yerevan State University (in 2023-2024, around 200 university students did their internships at Wikimedia Armenia). Wikiclubs and collaborations with schools will be continuous. We decided to continue Teachers’ Wikipedia Training but also to give university professors an opportunity to also join these trainings, so with this proposal we are planning to start Teachers’ and University Professors’ Wikipedia Training.
Increase the number of actively involved and new members and volunteers through various initiatives and projects, such as thematic edit-a-thons, for example Financial-Economic Wiki Month (in 2023, 24 participants created and improved 281 articles), photo walks and photo contests, such as WLM and WLE (in 2023, 11157 uploaded photos, 105 participants, 32 newcomers), Wikicamps (in 2023-2024, 125 participants, 38 newcomers, 1384 created/improved articles), and GLAM initiatives (collaboration with ICOM Armenia).
Increase community engagement and empowerment through regular community meet-ups and discussions both in-person gathering and mixed (in 2023, 65 participants).
Promote knowledge and innovation exchange through collaboration, joint projects and representation. For the latter, we made some arrangements and reached agreements with other Wikimedia chapters and user group representatives which we will try to implement with this proposal.
