Summary[edit]
Wikidata is the newest sister project, and the most promising technological development in recent years. Yet many experienced Wikimedians have not yet embraced it and integrated it into their volunteer work. This presentation starts at the very beginning, and seeks to help the Wikidata-shy volunteer learn to use and contribute to Wikidata.
Expected outcomes[edit]
Attendees will learn what Wikidata is, why it is useful, what items, properties, and values are, and how to update it.
