| Abstract:
In this presentation, the advantages and disadvantages of using bots on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects are discussed. Bots enable speed and consistency in information updates and data management, enabling large-scale changes to be implemented quickly and effectively. However, quality control issues such as automation errors, misunderstandings, and malicious use can also occur. |
