This event serves two purposes:
- Annual General Meeting (AGM): To review WCUGU's progress, discuss future plans, elect board members, and conduct other official business.
- 10-Year Anniversary Celebration: To commemorate WCUGU's decade-long commitment to open knowledge in Uganda through a festive gathering.
2. Who can attend?
Invited participants are
- WCUGU members and volunteers
- People interested in Wikipedia or Wikimedia projects
- Open knowledge advocates
- Educators, researchers, and students
3. Is there a cost to attend?
No, the event is free to attend, for the invited participants. Lunch, refreshments, and souvenirs will be provided.
4. What is the dress code?
The dress code is smart casual for the AGM and festive/comfortable for the celebration.
5. Will there be transportation provided?
Transport reimbursement will be provided
6. Can I bring a guest?
No, participation is by invitation only.
7. Will there be opportunities to learn more about WCUGU and its work?
Yes! The AGM and the Wiki Stories session during the celebration will provide insights into WCUGU's activities and impact.
