- I Kazakh language wikipedian conference 2-3 September in ENU, Astana.
- Two members of the Community (Saliha and Amangeldy Muhamedjan) have participated in a Turkic Wikimedians conference in Istanbul.
- Two members of the Community (Kaiyr and Amangeldy Muhamedjan) have participated in a CEE-meeting in Tbilisi.

There was unofficial meeting with user:Amangeldi Mukhamejan and user:Jjw, user:호로조 in Seoul, South Korea, where they discussed several issues including Wikipedia section problems, volunteer motivation methods, and potential future collaborations between communities and shared their experiences.
