- In this session Toby and Birgit provide an introduction in investigating the scope and requirements of software projects.
Attendees will learn
- what needs to be considered when planning a technical project
- how to ask the right questions to understand the scope of a project
- which stakeholders they need to communicate with
- how they can find out if the planned tool would affect community culture/rules
- about the different requirements for different technical projects (external tools, gadgets, Mediawiki-extensions ...)
- about possible contacts according to their project
- about options like community wishlist or individual grant
The session is a first step to enable organisations and individuals to plan and manage technical projects.
