2023-07-12: Women's Month on Wikipedia 2023 - 260 articles about women. Which are the most read?[edit]
In March and April 2023, we dedicated 4 edicathons, one WikiSchool for seniors and one WikiClub to women and women's issues. A total of 71 male and female Wikipedians participated in the Women's Month on Wikipedia challenge, many of them editing for the very first time. Together they created and expanded 260 articles. We recruited several female ambassadors for the project and had the support of representatives from the British, American and Swedish embassies. 2023-07-17: The fifth year of Czech Wiki Photo has started![edit]
The main photo Wiki contest is here. You can submit your best photos until October 31, 2023. The competition is in the traditional categories of Nature; Society Culture and Events and Man Made. More information about the competition in the last blog post.
2023-07-25: Thousands of Wikipedia articles are missing an image. Help change that![edit]
There are more than 500,000 articles on the Czech Wikipedia. Thousands of them do not have an illustrative image. Help change that by joining the Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos (WPWP) challenge. You can read more information in the last blog post.
