2021-10-08: Prague Wikiclub and senior courses are back
In October, we are starting the Seniors Citizens Write Wikipedia courses again. After a year we are returning to live sessions at the Municipal Library of Prague, in addition to the online courses. The Prague Wikiclub is also returning to the same place after a long break. Now, every Thursday from 5 to 7 pm, it is possible to come to the library (PC room in the basement) and work on Wikipedia: newcomers can ask for advice, more experienced ones can come to help others or just meet other soulmates and edit.

2021-10-15: Velvet at Schools: this year at the Jeroným Gymnasium in Liberec
Two classes of third year students of the gymnasium went through our seminar "How to write (about history) on Wikipedia?" During the interactive lesson, they looked into the "kitchen" of Wikipedia and were able to experience how such an encyclopedia is created, what its advantages and limitations are and how to best use it in their own studies. The seminar took place on 15 October 2021 as part of the Velvet at Schools event, which we joined last year with WMCZ. Schools can still book this seminar, and we also offer a more practical workshop for smaller groups.
