Context

From 14th to 18th of August 2019, took place in the beautiful city of stochkolm, the annual global wikimedians conference: Wikimania.

This was my first time attending Wikimania and it was an amazing and unforgettable experience.

During Wikimania, I attended many and diverses sessions and workshops. Here are some listed:

Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th

I attended the Wikimedia Hackathon working primarily on an interactive documentation tool for GLAM uploads

Friday 16 August

Projects I work on

Apart from the session I attended and sometimes co lead, i work with others wikimedians to develop an interactive documentation tool for GLAM Uploads.

The tool has been deployed on toolforge and available at: Mortar tool

Outcomes

Attending Wikimania 2019 had been a great experience and a great opportunity to meet others wikimedians from all over the world, sharing experiences and discovering new projects.

Meeting and talking with Wikimedia foundations managers and particularly with its executive director Katherine had been a really great moment.
