About the contest[edit]

The title of Wikimedia Israel's competition this year is "The women you have never met". The competition aims to increase the number of articles relating to influential women in Arabic Wikipedia, in addition to increasing the number of active editors and writers in the Arabic Wikipedia. We believe that Arabic Wikipedia is the first source of knowledge for Arabic speakers, so we believe that increasing the number of articles about women who are leaders in their field of work, increasing the number of articles about them, and making efforts to identify them and their achievements will be the best possible inspiration for girls and women.
