Problem we are trying to solve[edit]
As you can see in the table below, Kurdish content, both in Sorani and Kurmanji, are underrepresented online compared to other languages. Also, content about Kurdistan and the Kurdish people and culture is limited on Wikipedia, with only a few thousand articles out of 5 million, some very short, showing any relation to Kurdish content.
Why is having a bigger Wikipedia important?[edit]
Have you ever tried changing language settings on your Gmail account to Kurdish? Or been able to find keyboards that have all the keys you need to type without shortcuts and workarounds?
