FDC Grant[edit]

  • Reports are being prepared for the grant application. The members helped with translating into English.

Wikimania Washington[edit]

WMAT provided 10 travel grants for community members to the Wikimania 2012 in Washington D.C. http://mitglieder.wikimedia.at/Projekte/Wikimania_2012

Fundraising Congress[edit]

Infrastructure, etc.[edit]

  • WMAT has now got his own tax-identification number: 68 456/6102
  • WMAT will rent a workspace at a coworking-space at the HUB Vienna for our new CEO, while searching for the propper office.

Photography project[edit]

  • We are accreditated for the Austrian Bowl for taking pictures. The Austrian Football League (AFL) is the elite league of American football in Austria, the final game is called the Austrian Bowl: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austrian_Football_League
  • We negotiated a good price for a CANON EOS 5D Mk III with the tele lens system EF 400/2,8 L IS USM II. Canon furtheron supports us with an additional battery, a battery-powerpack and a raincoverage.

Solanaceae Congress in Switzerland[edit]

  • WMAT supports the travel of a community-member, dedicated to this topic, so that he can join the conference, which is supported by WMCH an WMFR. All attendees will get a Wikimedia-USB-Drive with solanaceae-articles in several languages.

Landtagsproject[edit]

  • We got a request of photographing the people of the federal state government of Salzburg. Therefore and for further projects we are expanding our Photo-equipment by a NIKON AF-S 85mm 1,4 G and a Wifi-adapter for our camera.

CEO[edit]

After a long selecting process, we will hire Claudia Garad as our new CEO. She lives in Stuttgart and will settle in Vienna by October 2012. The official registration to the social-security-system is being prepared.

Literature scholarships[edit]

We are supporting the purchase of an additional volume of an entomological paper, which earlier volumes are already bought by us.
