Wikimedia diaspora organisations
Wikimedia diaspora organisations is a network of Wikimedia organisations that work as a worldwide diaspora, i.e. with a thematic focus rather than a geographic one.
The purpose of the network is to share experiences and learning patterns from peers and help with the development of the organisations and their projects.
History
[edit]The network was initiated by Esperanto kaj Libera Scio during Wikimedia Conference 2015. The first affiliates invited were the ones participating in the conference: Wikimedia LGBT, Wikisource Community User Group and Wiki Project Med.
Other diaspora affiliates are invited to participate.
