This is our page to create our strategy for 2030. It is derived from our objectives:
The group's focus includes work on all topics related to sustainable development, including in particular the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (also known as the Global Goals). The user group is a cross-project, cross-language and transnational group that welcomes and supports contributions to all Wikimedia projects. We aim to partner with organizations that are actively working towards a world with sustainable development whether they are NGO's, academic institutions, public bodies of different levels or even perhaps companies in order to create, collect and curate knowledge.
Our strategy is aligned with the Movement strategy and the different parts are marked with the initiatives they relate to.
Coordinate Across Stakeholders
[edit]- Whenever any affiliate or user wants to have support about sustainable development, they will reach out to the user group. (30)
Manage internal knowledge
[edit]- Enable the movement to self report metadata related to sustainable development for all activities they do. (36)
Identify topics for impact
[edit]- Make sure there are lists with topics for impact that the communities could use as to-do lists. (37)
Innovate in Free Knowledge
[edit]- Support the creation of diverse media types of content that could illustrate work related to the SDGs in multiple languages. (43)
