Employed?

[edit]

How do I check to see that you really are officially employed by the Wikimedia foundation? So far, your only edits were to your userspace on meta, and all your other accounts were autocreated with no contributions whatsoever. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 08:14, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Kelly is a temporary employee of the Wikimedia Foundation, supporting the 2010-2011 Fundraising campaign. For verification, feel free to email me (philippe(_AT_)wikimedia.org) or call me at 415-839+6885 x 6643. Thanks, Philippe (WMF) 16:56, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

tg-tglg

[edit]

tg is the Tagalog language writtien in the Latin script while tl-tglg is Tagalog written in Baybayin. tl-tglg is in limited support in the Tagalog Wikipiedia but so far only a handful of articles there have been written in the script this is one example... -23prootie 20:52, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Swahili (sw) translation

[edit]

Thank you for the note on my user page. Jimmy's appeal letter has been translated into Swahili, and proofread, over on the Swahili Wikipedia, at the community discussion page. The result has been copied here. Both it and the Swahili core messages are ready for publication. I look forward to the English banner being replaced by Swahili, at long last. Joan Gomà Appeal/pl

[edit]

Hi Kelly, About this change. I think it's not consistent with the other polish translations. In all others: Kartika's, Abbas' and also Lailaroja's appeal, there is city and the country of the author. Sincerely, --Mikołka (talk) 19:43, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mikołka - we allowed the author of the appeal to tell us where they're located. In this case, Goma wishes to be identified as from Catalon. We will respect that wish.  :) --Philippe 19:56, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Philippe. Then I will change it to "Catalonia". --Mikołka (talk) 20:34, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
