Anthony cfc

After serving the community for over a year at wikipedia.english, I'd like to further offer my services to Wikimedia by helping out at OTRS. It seems a short justification is in order; my main project is wikipedia english, where I've mainly contributed to the maintenance and dispute resolution side of operations. For example, I've mediated for the wikipedia (en) Mediation Cabal with a successful to unsuccessful case ratio of fifteen cases to one (at the last count :-) ; I was (until recently) a Member's Advocate, where most notably I was involved in a case which eventually required several direct contact operations with Google Inc.. Other contributions include CheckUser clerking at w:en RFCU, which is a position that requires very fine attention to detail, handling of potentially nasty situations, inexperienced and often angry bad-faith requests, and above all trust which to date I have shown. Hopefully this re-request will be considered fully, and I'd love any feedback you may have!

I'd like to help out on OTRS! I'm no admin on a Wikimedia project, but familiar with wiki systems and a long-time contributor on Wikia (under the name of Jack Phoenix), and also an admin of four Wikia projects and I have a wiki of my own. I know that they're not Wikimedia projects, but they still mean something, to me at least. I'd like to help out with English and Finnish requests. I'm not an active contributor on English Wikipedia, since everything (well almost) has been said already on that wiki, but instead active on Finnish Wikipedia.

Well, I added a request quite some time ago, and it was removed by mindspillage, who never contacted me. When I talked to on IRC she said she couldn't remember whether she approved my request or not, so I figured I'd just ask again. Anyway, I've been an active contributor to Wikipedia for about a year and a half, and have been an admin on that wiki for about a year. I'm also a semi-active contributor on Wikiversity and the meta-wiki, though I am a sysop on neither. I have extensive experience dealing with upset users, dispute resolution on Wikipedia, policy disputes, unblock requests, and other policy matters.
