The 2016 affiliate-selected Board seats process took place from 7 February 2016 through 8 May 2016.

The successful candidates were Christophe Henner and Nataliia Tymkiv.

The election facilitators for 2016 are Chris Keating, Laurentius and Bluerasberry. They are responsible for overseeing the process and are happy to answer any questions. Pundit is the board liason for the process.

The affiliate selected board members will be replacing the outgoing Frieda Brioschi and Patricio Lorente who have not put themselves forward as candidates this time. Patricio Lorente served two terms of two years as an affiliate selected Board seat.

The election was conducted under the Single Transferable Vote, which meant that votes were redistributed between candidates to come up with the final result. In the 9th round of voting the final place, after Christophe was elected, was between Nataliia (16.09) and Siska (9.91).
