Description[edit]

In recent times, there have been several environment related Wikimedia projects in Nigeria aimed at closing the content gaps on English Wikipedia. For instance, in 2022, the Wiki for Human Right 2022 campaign with the theme `Right to healthy Environment` was held in Nigeria (https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/WikiForHumanRightsNG/WikiForHumanRights_2022_in_Nigeria/home) at Ilorin, Owerri and Lagos. In the same year, there was also the Wiki for Climate and Environmental Literacy campaign. These events helped contribute over 500 environment-related articles in the English Wikipedia. However, information about these articles are missing in the French Wikipedia. To this end, I will love for organize a translate-a-thon to help translate these articles in French Wikipedia.
