Introduction

[edit]

Q: What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

Ans. Actually there are many works that I've done on sa Wiki with enthusiasm. Some of them are not up to the mark and remain unrewarded. But they are still as close to me as other. I always speak my mind and don't want to follow the trend. Perhaps that imposed most to contribute on Sanskrit Wiki. Therefore first and foremost thing which I wanted was the infrastructural changes both technical and textual. My little and firm steps are -
  • writing articles on paleography (scriptology).
  • creating various templates. specially Infoboxes.
  • script writing for sa wiki homepage.
  • conducting two workshops and various outreach programs.
basically now I'm working for propagating Sanskrit and Sa Wiki and to encourage the new editors by giving them proper training. This can be done with institutional collaboration. A recent training camp on editing at Sringeri shows our commitment.

Q What kind of support you are looking for?

Ans. I'm looking forward to your valuable support on these topics-
  • A complete awareness on admin. rights and tools.
  • Fix the homepage on both format browser and mobi.
  • creating and running the short scripts using Py.
  • creating modules for sa wiki.
