What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?

Description - The Mais Diversidade em Teoria da História na Wiki event is a thematic competition on Portuguese Wikipedia, Commons and Wikidata. It is part of a set of activities that will take place throughout 2024 under the Projeto Mais Teoria da História na Wiki. The project aims to encourage the involvement of current and new editors in Wikimedia projects. Everyone who identifies with or sympathizes with the proposed themes is welcome to support open science and the construction of collaborative knowledge in editing themes related to gender and race studies and the epistemology of the Global South.

Banners - Hello, @DerHexer:! How are you? Here's the information for the Mais Diversidade campaign banner.

The overall design could mirror that of the Mais Povos originários banner, which looked great! There are just a few changes:

Instead of the logo, we'd like to use an image of the wikicontest's prizes, which you can find here. Do you think it's possible? Additionally, the background color should be changed to #8153D6.

Text1: Participe do Concurso de Edição Mais Diversidade em Teoria da História na Wiki, entre os dias 11 de outubro e 11 de novembro de 2024, e contribua para visibilizar conhecimentos dissidentes. Font: Open Sans Light, size 24, black.

Text2: Inscreva-se aqui. Font: Open Sans Light, size 29, white. For the box, the color is #5ED5ED.

As you probably noticed, the instructions are pretty similar to the Mais Mulheres' banner, just different background colors, image and text. Maybe using that one as reference when it's done would make the work easier! Again, thanks a lot for the help! If you have any doubts, please contact me.

Hello, @Johannnes89:. Can we shorten the main sentence to “Participe do Concurso de Edição Mais Diversidade em Teoria da História na Wiki e contribua para visibilizar conhecimentos dissidentes.” What do you think? I'd like to point out that we're also going to include a MetaWiki landing page in this banner, but we haven't created the page yet. I'll post it here soon. Thanks in advance. @Danielly Figueredo (Projeto Mais+): yes of course we can change the landing page link at a later point. I've created the campaign [1] and the preliminary banner [2] (Preview [3]). Please review everything to make sure it's alright. Looking at the mobile version [4] on a smartphone I think this banner should use less text. --Johannnes89 (talk) 06:25, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, @Johannnes89:. We think the writing on the banner looks good. Can we approve it as it is? We won't be creating the event page on MetaWiki anymore, so the landing page will remain as it is here in the proposal. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! @Danielly Figueredo (Projeto Mais+) we could, but please check the mobile preview [5] again on a mobile device -> the image is really too large for the mobile banner. Three options: 1) don't display the banner on mobile devices, 2) choose a different image/icon (ideally square shaped), 3) choose a different image for a mobile banner and we keep the desktop banner as it is. Hello, @Johannnes89: See if this image here makes the banner appear better on mobile devices. Also, in the text that is blank “Inscreva-se”, you can remove the word “aqui”.
