Description - Promoting awareness of the call for registration to Wikimania 2021. This is considered a "standard banner" as per CentralNotice/Usage_guidelines#Approval.

Metrics - Number of event registrations

What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?[edit]

Banners - A call for registration equivalent to the call for submsissions banner for Wikimania 2021.

As banner text we would like to use "The 2021 Wikimania Conference is now open for registration. Please register to get access to the event space."

@Ciell:, @Pharos:, since Wikimania is a public event, will it be fine if the banner be visible to all wiki projects and also visible for readers/ unlogged? This was discussed last night at the organizer's meeting, isn't it @Fuzheado:? ---Exec8 (talk) 13:46, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Exec8: What would the purpose be of showing this banner to anonymous users? We try to use this option very little, even more so on a global scale. Closing date update[edit]

Hi Bodhisattwa, I am trying to reach out to people through Telegram to help with the translations of the banner, but maybe you or any one else has time to do several second viewings? I guess even verifying through Google translate should be enough in this case, but I myself don't have the time atm to do this for ~40 languages.
