Description

When I am reading an article that I am indenting to edit I often want to look up other images for the article in Commons. With or without the Media Viewer it is always a multistepped way, before I am finally on the file page in Commons, where I can navigate through the categories.

In the Media Viewer? is a drop-down menu with the option 'go to file page[? de:Dateiseite]', and everytime I expect to get to Commons, but, no, there is a page that just looks like the Commons page, enough so, that I am irritated where the categories are (for me at top). In the meantime I realized that there is a link to Commons in the ~header, and I am getting accustomed to it. But for my personal workflow it stays a pain in the ass. In instances, when it is my primary goal to find better (suited) images, the amount of clicks I have to go through makes no sense (although I expect it to be a domain issue).

I would like to see either a link directly to the Commons page in the drop-down menu of the full screen image (Media Viewer?); or an option in the preferences to go directly from an image in Wikipedia to its Commons page.
