Policies and Guidelines:
DCW Requests page has been launched by the Deoband Community Wikimedia subject to its strategic trajectory explained in March 2023 strategic learnings. Subject to following criteria/guidelines, you can seek internet support (currently) in order to aid your contributions on Wikimedia projects:
You must be having a six month old established Wikimedia account.
You have contributed with over 800 global edits during the last three months. Creation/improvement of about 10 articles during the last three months (in any language) is a necessary requirement.
You need to submit a brief contribution plan for the next 3 months. It would be appreciated if you make a plan to do at the least one Good Article during this period.
Community discussion: Your request needs to be endorsed by at least one active community member. Timing: It is recommended to submit the request two weeks in advance. Once approved, please allow us a week to process the support.
Lessons and renewal:
DCW recommends you to share lessons and experiences that you learn from your activities since those are helpful for the wider community.
You may submit a request for renewal of internet support two weeks prior to the expiry of current plan, explaining how you have completed your proposed work.
