What will we be working on in Latin America during 2022?

• Summary of the session:

The work carried out in education in the Latin American region is broad and diverse. Each country proposes different projects, according to its context, and we also accompany each other to strengthen ourselves as a region and talk about common issues. In this lightning talk, we intend to present some of the activities or projects that we will carry out from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Mexico during 2022, with the aim of making them known to people from other regions and build bridges, to continue thinking why Wikimedia projects are key in the educational world.

  • Share some of the projects we will be working on this year in our countries.
  • Present major topics or lines of work, to socialize them with the rest of the community at a global level.
  • Build bridges between the works that are done in each region.

El trabajo que se realiza en educación en la región latinoamericana es amplio y diverso. Cada país propone diferentes proyectos, acordes a su contexto, y además nos acompañamos mutuamente para fortalecernos como región y conversar sobre temas en común. En esta lightning talk, nos proponemos presentar alguna de las actividades o proyectos que realizaremos desde Argentina, Bolivia, Chile y México durante 2022, con el objetivo de darlas a conocer a personas de otras regiones y trazar puentes en común, para seguir pensando por qué los proyectos wikimedia son clave en el mundo educativo.

• Resultado de la sesión
  • Compartir algunos de los proyectos en los que estaremos trabajando este año en nuestros países.
  • Presentar grandes temas o ejes de trabajo, para socializarlos con el resto de la comunidad a nivel global.
  • Trazar puentes entre los trabajos que se hacen en cada región.
