The first scheduled event will be on March 6 and 7, in collaboration with the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and the LABNL Cultural Ciudadano, which is called Artificial intelligence in the creation of open knowledge and the activities to be developed will be a conference around the use of artificial intelligence for learning in open environments; a panel discussion where the possibilities and concerns of the use of AI in learning and teaching will be addressed; an open dialogue on AI and open knowledge; a discussion table where best practices will be proposed to reinforce open knowledge through the use of AI and a Wikipedia editing workshop that will conclude with an Editathon. The participants are people and collective whose work is based on the construction of free, open, and collective knowledge, but they will be open spaces in which citizens can come to generate dialogue.

On March 9, we will present the WikiEducation book. Educational practices and educational experiences in Mexico with Wikipedia and other open resources (WikiEducación. Prácticas y experiencias educativas en México con Wikipedia y otros recursos abiertos), in which on the one hand, educational experiences that teachers from different regions of Mexico have promoted with Wikipedia and other open educational resources in their classrooms, libraries, and laboratories are addressed, making the need to transform pedagogical practice for the production and construction of free and collective knowledge. And, on the other hand, the importance of looking into our academic spaces and recognizing the need to involve students in their educational processes, that they know that they are subjects capable of researching, writing, thinking and acting critically and that know that the collective production of knowledge generates relevant impacts on society.

This event will be broadcast through the social networks of the Coordinación de Universidad Abierta, Innovación Educativa y Educación a Distancia (CUAIEED), an institution with which courses have been carried out Edit Wikipedia! for teachers and that has allowed the creation of alliances with different higher-level institutions of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Finally, we will present the campaign #1REA1Ref, 1 Open Educational Resource 1 Reference, a proposal that seeks to integrate open educational resources as references in the articles of the Spanish Wikipedia to add to the construction of free and collaborative knowledge in the encyclopedia. In addition to expanding the network of quality OERs, which are used as references in Wikipedia and that they serve as knowledge expanders, our intention is to grow international cooperation networks with teachers and allies who are interested in producing and sharing knowledge; but also to innovate in the educational and technological fields. The campaign will be open from March 10 to April 10 and the participation dynamic is very simple: first you must locate an OER that you or a colleague have developed, then an article that lacks references, but that at the same time is related with the resource and finally, you must add it.

From the Wikimedia Mexico Education Program, we are happy to participate for the third consecutive year in Open Education Week, as we recognize that today more than ever, we must continue working to guarantee access to knowledge, but also how urgent and necessary it is to weave community and network with other people, collectives or allies interested in building new ways of teaching and learning.
