The design of the R@/Bibliothécaires event represents a program developed specifically for professionals in the book chain, including librarians and archivists.

Détails sur les activités[edit]

Les Program objectives[edit]

R@/Librarians aims to provide specialized training for archives and documentation professionals, preparing them to use Wikidata effectively as a database. This initiative also includes familiarization with other Wikimedia Foundation projects to strengthen learners' skills and participation in the Wikimedia ecosystem. Through these training courses, participants will acquire expertise that will contribute to the enrichment of the platform and promote a more extensive and informed use of these resources in the field of archiving and documentation. The ultimate aim is to create a community of well-trained professionals committed to promoting knowledge through Wikimedia projects.

Planning, activities and set-up[edit]

The program is aimed primarily at archive and documentation professionals of various nationalities. It will start on January 15, 2024 and end on March 15, 2024. Training sessions will be led by Ross.Patrick, Flonews and Azogbonon, bringing specialized knowledge to participants. This initiative aims to strengthen the skills of the professional community in these specific areas, thus fostering a more meaningful contribution to Wikimedia projects.
