The Teahouse is for new people, the Village Pump is a boring and the Beer Hall is where the real Wikiparty happens. Come join us.

i'm trying to get wikipedians loosened up and to have a good time and to be awesome and make beer

making beer. checking ID's. no kids allowed.
Tools, technologies, and techniques[edit]
lots of yeast and big giant barrels and some boxes to stand on.

to make lots of beer and promote that beer. all funds go to wikimedia. the beer is then drunk by wikipedians and they stand on boxes and talk about their opinions and feelings and get it all out until they pass out

i'm trying to get people to stop whining on mailing lists and talk pages and to let them "get it all out" after a few good beers so then they'll just move on and get back to writing an encyclopedia.
Sustainability[edit]
we'll come up with better beer recipes. if we get a compost that'll make it sustainable. we will also recycle everything and upcycle old stuff to make the soapboxes.
Measures of success[edit]
if the mailing list traffic goes down and wikipedians become nicer

making beer, perfecting our recipes, promoting the space, checking id's. oh, i forgot we also need security guards to drag out the passed out and unruly wikipedians, so dealing with that.
Tools, technologies, and techniques[edit]
beermaking is an ancient artform. we'll use all organic hops and yeast and flavors. we'll probably experiment with some recipes from wikibooks.

when the mailing lists are deleted and more happy newbies are editing wikipedia. oh, and when we see more articles being edited with misspellings due to people being drunk.
