What is the problem you're trying to solve?
Well, it is writing a proposal of how to handle harassment in wikipedia.
What is your solution?
My proposal would be to create more academic authority over any user, so it can be more protected. I think, if a user can present a degree of authority based on experience and the quality of their contribution, it can play a protective atmosphere in front to any abuser.
About the idea creator
I am an independent journalist from Colombia based in Cambodia. I am on the first generation of Spanish wikipedians, I have worked intensively to promote km.wikipedia.org and I contribute to Engish wikipedia as well in topics related to Asia and South America.
- Seems like a solid idea. My only fear is if it somehow scared people from contributing. More likely though it could gamify the contribution process to maybe get people to contribute more. Icco (talk) 03:52, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
