Project idea

[edit]

What is the problem you're trying to solve?

[edit]

Hoping to solve the problem of bad/incorrect data

What is your solution?

[edit]
  • Tie in a single sign on to a validity account (they can only sign on with a linkedin or facebook account - identity is kept secure and is only used for auditing purposes by wikipedia staff)
  • Users can have a credibility rating system based on edit approval
  • Users can mark an entry for editorial review (you can claim that info may be incorrect)
 - those users would also have a credibility system

Project goals

[edit]

Make Wikipedia a source that can be trusted, and possible something that can be cited in research papers.
