Project idea[edit]
What is the problem you're trying to solve?[edit]
- Involvement of women in Wikimedia and it's sisters projects.
- Gender related issues.
- Equity in all aspects.
What is your solution?[edit]
Different types of programs are beneficial to reduce the gender gap. Such as;
- We should provide wiki education in the targeted areas.
- Organize women's edit-a-thon, to increase women's participation in wikimedia & extends the women related article.
- Outreach events(Focus on Women related)
- Women in the progressive path of Wiki Women's movement.
Project goals[edit]
To reduce the gender gap and the involvement of women's in wiki is main motto of my idea. Being a native of Nepali, i have some goals as follows;
- To increase Nepalese Women active participation in Wiki movement.
- To increase Women's awareness on Wikipedia.
- To improve articles related to women and women related issues in Nepali Wikipedia.
- To encourage Nepalese women in the progressive path of Wiki Women's movement.
