What is the problem you're trying to solve?[edit]
Inspired by projects like WOOF, Workaway, and Wikipedian in residence, I would like to investigate more opportunities for volunteers to focus on content creation full-time without being paid in cash.
What is your solution?[edit]
I would like to gather people interested in developing the idea, finding what is acceptable for the community, and figuring out what is the best way to bring it into existence.
Project goals[edit]
Investigate the creation of more volunteer opportunities and its limits with regard to:
- Volunteers: what is acceptable for them to participate? For how long? In exchange of what?
- Community: what are the implications of having full-time volunteers?
- Donors: is it acceptable for donors to finance the activities of full-time volunteers? Which accountability level is demanded?
- Legal: which form should have the agreement?
