  • Objectives of Proposal: Estrategia I:
1.1. Mapeo de activistas en cultura, ecología y género, tanto personas, colectivos y organizaciones. Entablar comunicación con ellos, establecer nuestro interés en conocer sus necesidades de comunicación y educación, y presentar nuestra propuesta de actividades Wikimedia. Identificar intereses en común y planificar acciones colaborativas.
1.2. Implementación de actividades Wikimedia en torno a nuestros tres ejes temáticos en Lima, Huaraz y Tarapoto, ciudades en las que ya tuvimos presencia en la fase 1, y en dos nuevas ciudades, Chimbote y Cusco.
1.3. Desarrollo de un taller virtual de cuatro semanas sobre diseño e implementación de paseos y expediciones fotográficas sobre cultura y ecología, dirigido a colectivos y organizaciones con experiencia en la organización de caminatas e interés en desarrollar competencias en: a) diseño de proyectos de este tipo; b) edición en Wikipedia y subida de imágenes en Commons; y c) incidencia política, educativa y cultural en sus comunidades a través de las plataformas Wikimedia en relación a la conservación y protección del patrimonio cultural y natural. Los participantes desarrollarán una propuesta como parte del taller; las 3 mejores recibirán un fondo para ser implementadas.

Estrategia II:

2.1. Organizar un conversatorio virtual con especialistas sobre brechas de conocimiento en los proyectos Wikimedia sobre cada uno de los ejes. Estos conversatorios estarán acompañados de editatones en formato híbrido (virtual y presencial en Lima, Tarapoto y Huaraz). El objetivo es capacitar personas, crear una comunidad y crear/mejorar contenidos. Además, a partir de la propuesta de temas dentro de cada eje buscaremos identificar tópicos de impacto en nuestra audiencia objetivo.
2.2. Incrementar nuestra articulación con los capítulos, grupos de usuarios y wikiproyectos activos en la región, mediante la participación en campañas de edición, el aprovechamiento de los espacios de capacitación y el uso de los recursos de entrenamiento e investigación existentes que faciliten nuestra labor.
2.3. Involucrarnos de manera activa e invitar a nuestra comunidad a participar en las actividades y campañas Wikimedia de alcance global, tales como Wikimania 2022, la conferencia Queering Wikipedia 2022 y campañas como #WikiPorLosDerechosHumanos.
2.4. Organizar dos cursos cortos sobre temas transversales a los proyectos Wikimedia: a) redacción científica (ortografía, gramática, redacción, referencias) utilizando como plataforma Wikipedia en español y b) introducción a las licencias y el conocimiento libre y la equidad en el conocimiento.
2.5.Organizar un Wiki Campamento de un fin de semana en Lima para reunirnos, reconocernos, escucharnos, compartir visiones y experiencias, aprender a editar y contribuir juntos a los proyectos Wikimedia. Buscamos que se generen los vínculos necesarios entre personas con intereses en común como base para el sentimiento de comunidad y la acción colectiva.
2.6. Optimizar nuestras estrategias de capacitación en base a los recursos disponibles dentro del movimiento Wikimedia.

Estrategia III:

3.1. Implementar estrategias para conocer mejor a las audiencias que participan en nuestras actividades, tales como encuestas, diagnósticos de redes sociales, formularios, observación directa y entrevistas en profundidad.
3.2. Mantener una presencia constante, innovadora y significativa en nuestros canales digitales de comunicación. Experimentaremos principalmente con dos estrategias: envío de boletines por correo electrónico a nuestra base de suscriptores y creación de podcasts.
3.3. Organizar una exposición itinerante con las imágenes subidas a Commons durante la fase 1.

Estrategia IV:

4. 1. Diseñar e implementar una evaluación externa a mitad del proyecto de la segunda fase para sistematizar los aprendizajes hasta ese momento. Esto nos permitirá orientar nuestras actividades no solo para esta fase sino para el mediano plazo, contribuyendo a afinar un plan estratégico para los siguientes años.
4.2 Diseñar e implementar de manera interna un mapeo de las brechas de conocimiento en ecología, cultura y género en Wikipedia en español en cuatro regiones relacionado al contexto peruano, y contribuir con recomendaciones y conclusiones que nos permitan afinar un plan estratégico para los siguientes años.
4.3 Participación en Wikimania 2022 con una presentación sobre nuestra experiencia y sus aprendizajes.
4.4 Desarrollar un plan estratégico a mediano plazo con la ayuda de un/a consultor/a y a partir de nuestros aprendizajes reflejados en el informe final del proyecto 2021-2022, la evaluación externa, el mapeo de brechas de conocimiento, la retroalimentación de nuestro comité asesor y de nuestras audiencias.
4.5. Buscaremos seguir aprendiendo de y aportando al grupo de usuarios Wikimedistas de Perú, del cual somos parte, a través de la participación en las reuniones mensuales ordinarias y extraordinarias y apoyando virtualmente en las actividades organizadas.
