| इस शीट में टाईम लाइन में बताए अनुसार मैंने कार्यशालाओं का आयोजन किया। कुछ परिस्थितिओं में उससे जुडे अन्य सेशन्स् भी लिये, ताकि कार्यशाला में पढाए हुए पर कोई प्रश्न हो उसका समाधान हो सके। | I conducted workshops as mentioned in the timeline in this sheet. मैंने सातत्य बनाने का प्रयास किया, परन्तु लेब की कमी के कारण कम ही हो पाया। सिलेबस में विकिपीडिया को एड किया। उनको विकिपीडिया का महत्त्व समझाया और उनको कैसे ये सहायता कर सकता है, ये उनको समझाया। लोगों के साथ व्यक्तिगत चर्चाएं की और उनको जो भी समस्या आये उस पर उनको मार्गदर्शन दिया। सब से अच्छा कार्य ये किया कि उनको टाइपिंग करना नहीं आता था, तो सब को टाइपिंग करना सिखाया। फिर विकिपीडिया के अनुसार पंचशील का उपयोग करके आर्टिकल लिखना सिखाया। उनके असाइन्मेन्ट में भी विकिपीडिया डाल दिया, ताकि उनको एक्स्ट्रा बर्डन न रहे और वें अधिक अच्छे से योगदान दे पाए।

मैं ये कह सकता हूँ कि इस प्रोजेक्ट को आरम्भ करने के पश्चात् दूसरी युनि. के मार्ग खुलेंगे और बहुत समय से जो कोम्युनिटि जहाँ की तहाँ है, वहाँ से थोडा आगे बढेगी। मुझे पता है कि मेरे प्रपोझल में बहुत सी गलतीयाँ है। परन्तु छोटी कोम्युनिटि को ही अब तक ये बताया जाता है कि यात्रा के लिये या अमुक वस्तु के लिये ग्रान्ट नहीं दे सकते। बाकी बहुत से प्रपोझल मैंने देखें हैं, जहां 4 या 7 लाख में खाना, पीना, बेजिस् इत्यादि सब कुछ के साथ ग्रान्ट दे दी जाती है। छोटी कोम्युनिटि को ही नियम आडे आते हैं। हो सकता है कि ये कार्यक्रम के पश्चात् हमारे काम को देखा जाए। समझा जाए। तो सब से पहले तो यह ही सिखना है कि कोम्युनिटि बढाने के लिये यात्राएँ करनी पडेगी चाहे लोग कुछ भी कहे, जो आवश्यक है, वो करना पडेगा, तो ऐसे में काम करके दिखाने से क्या कुछ परिवर्तन होगा। बाकी कोम्युनिटि बढाने के लिये कुछ कार्यशालाएं और कुछ सम्पर्क करने पडेंगे।
जिन विद्यार्थियों को तैयार किया गया है, उनको आगे बढा कर अधिक प्रशिक्षण देना आवश्यक होगा, जिससे वें आर्टिकल्स् को अपनी स्वतन्त्र बुद्धि लिख पाएँ। अन्यथा इतना परिश्रम व्यर्थ हो जाएगा। विद्यार्थियों में आईडी भूलने की और सिखाये को भूलने की भी सम्भावना अधिक होती है, अतः भविष्य में मैं ध्यान रक्खुंगा कि सातत्य बना रहे। एक प्रोजेक्टर होना चाहिये, क्योंकि जिन संस्थाओँ में जाते हैं, वहाँ कम सुविधा होती है और सिखाने में अधिक समस्या होती है।

| नमस्ते, सर्वप्रथम मैं हृदयान्तःकरण से आप से क्षमाप्रार्थी हूँ कि मेरे कारण इस प्रोजेक्ट में विलम्ब हुआ। मेरा एक गंभीर एक्सिडन्ट हो गया था, जिसके चलते मैं बहुत दिन तक पेर हिला नहीं पा रहा था। एक्सिडन्ट का घटनाक्रम इस प्रकार था कि 10/01/25 दिनांक को किराये पर लाये लेपटोप को वापस करके घर की ओर जा रहा था। उसी समय एक ट्रक के साथ मेरा एक्सिडन्ट हुआ, इतना झोर से वो टकराया कि मैं फुटपाथ पर जा गिरा और मेरा मोबाईल जो मेरी उपर जी जेब में था, वो टकराता हुआ पास के एक तालाब में गिर गया। तीन दिन बाद मैं उसे वापस पा सका, परन्तु उसका डेटा और सब कुछ नष्ट हो गया। क्योंकि तीन दिन से मोबाईल पानी में ही था। मेरे विहिकल के आगे का पुरा भाग अलग हो गया और मुझे तुरन्त डो. के पास ले जाया गया। पहले डो. ने मुझे पट्टा बांधकर आराम करने का परामर्श दिया और फिर ठीक न होने पर एम.आरआई करने को कहा। फिर से पट्टा और दवाईयाँ आरम्भ हो गई। अतः न मैं ओफिस जा पा रहा था और न मैं प्रोजेक्ट के किसी कार्य में योगदान दे पा रहा था। इतना कम था कि 3/2/2025 को फिर से एक्सिडन्ट हो गया। अतः और विलम्ब हो गया। इस पुरे समय में मेरा 2 लाख से अधिक का नुकसान हो गया।
परन्तु अब मैं थोडा अच्छा अनुभव कर रहा हूं, तब समस्या ये आई कि, जिन लोगों को मैंने पढाया था, सम्पादन इत्यादि सब कुछ सिखाया था, उनका सेमेस्टर बदल गया और पढाई का लोड बढ गया। अतः एक्स्ट्रा लेक्चर्स नहीं हो पा रहे थे, अतः धीरे धीरे करके व्यक्तिगत या छोटे छोटे ग्रुप्स् में बैठकर सब आर्टिकल ओफलाईन पुरे करवाए और अब 26 से धीरे धीरे सब आर्टिकल अपलोड किये जा रहे हैं। |
Hello, first of all I apologize to you from the bottom of my heart that this project was delayed because of me. I had a serious accident due to which I was unable to move my legs for many days. The sequence of events of the accident was that on 10/01/25 I was returning home after returning the laptop I had rented. At that time I had an accident with a truck, it hit me with such force that I fell on the pavement and my mobile which was in my upper pocket fell into a pond nearby. I was able to get it back after three days, but its data and everything else was destroyed. Because the mobile was in water for three days. The entire front part of my vehicle was torn apart and I was immediately taken to the doctor. First the doctor advised me to rest with a bandage tied and then asked me to get an MRI done if it did not get better. Again the bandage and medicines started. Hence, I was neither able to go to office nor was I able to contribute to any work of the project. I was so busy that I met with an accident again on 3/2/2025. Hence, there was a further delay. During this entire time, I suffered a loss of more than 2 lakhs. |

| मेरी सर्वप्रथम समस्या थी इन्टर्नेट - यहाँ सामान्य शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं में इन्टर्नेट नहीं होता। अतः मैंने इन्टर्नेट का कुछ फंड रक्खा था कि वो अपने इन्टर्नेट को एक या दो दिन के लिये बढा दे और हम उसे उपयोग कर पाएँ। परन्तु इनके पास इन्टर्नेट के डिवाइझ ही नहीं काम करते थे, इन्टर्नेट एजन्सि के वायर तूट जाते थे। आयोजन से पूर्व बहुत बार बात की परन्तु कोई सकारात्मक फल नहीं मिला। अतः कम स्पिड वाले इन्टर्नेट में उनको विकिपीडिया में सम्पादन करना सिखाया। उनको लिखने की पद्धति बताई और संशोधन कैसे करना है, वो बताया। | My first problem was internet - here in general educational institutions there is no internet. So I had kept some fund for internet so that they can extend their internet for one or two days so that we can use it. But their internet devices were not working, the wires of the internet agency used to break. I talked to them many times before the event but did not get any positive result. So I taught them how to edit Wikipedia on low speed internet. I told them the method of writing and how to make changes. |
| दूसरी समस्या थी एक लेब का अभाव
किराये पर लेपटोप लाना बहुत बडा टास्क था। ऊपर से जब सेमेस्टर बदलते हैं, या परीक्षा या कोई कार्यक्रम होता है, तो कुछ कम ही बच्चे आ पाते थे। अब २० लोगों के लिये लेपटोप मंगाया पर आये १५ लोग तो ५ के पैसे व्यर्थ हो जाएंगे। ऐसी स्थिति में लेपटोप वाले से संवाद किया और मनाया कि भले भुगतान तुमको पहले कर दुंगा, परन्तु जब जब आवश्यकता हो, तब उतने लेपटोप किराये पर देना। तो वो मान गया और कभी कभी २० लोग के स्थान पर १५ या १६ लोग आये तो मैं उतने ही लेपटोप मंगवाता था। कभी ५ आये तो उतने ही। ऐसे करके बहुत समस्याएँ देखी पर प्रोजेक्ट पुरा किया। |
The second problem was the lack of a lab.
It was a big task to get a laptop on rent. Moreover, when the semesters change, or there is an exam or some program, then only a few students could come. Now I got laptops for 20 people, but if 15 people came, then the money for 5 would go waste. In such a situation, I talked to the laptop guy and convinced him that though I will pay you in advance, but whenever you need, give me that many laptops on rent. So he agreed and sometimes instead of 20 people, 15 or 16 people came, then I used to get that many laptops. Sometimes 5 came, then that many. In this way, I faced many problems but completed the project. |

Assurance has been received, but they are also hoping for some grant. They are ready to give space, that you can get a lab built in a room for Wikipedia, we will get internet cables installed there, if you want you can use the lab by paying the internet fee. I need your guidance as to what should be done further in this matter. Because I want to renew this work for another 6 months, so that the work that they have learned now, remains continuous, otherwise the output of the project will not be able to make much impact in the future. |

शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं में कार्यक्रम बहुत होते हैं, तथा छुट्टीयाँ भी होती हैं। ऐसे में बच्चें लंबा गेप आने से पढाया सब भूल जाते हैं। क्योंकि उनकी रेग्युलर क्लासिस नहीं लगती थी। जब समय मिला कार्यशाला होती थी। अब लोग टाइप कैसे करना, संस्कृत का किबोर्ड से टाइपिंग कैसे करना, सामग्री को सेव किया था, वो खोजना इत्यादि बहुत सी बाते भूल जाते थे, तो ये भी बहुत बडी समस्या थी। |
The third problem was continuity -
There are many programs in educational institutions, and there are holidays too. In such a situation, children forget everything taught due to a long gap. Because their regular classes were not held. Whenever they got time, workshops were held. Now people forgot many things like how to type, how to type Sanskrit on keyboard, how to search for saved material, etc. So this was also a big problem. |

| चौथी समस्या थी होस्टेल के बच्चे बिना टेकनोलोजिकल ज्ञान - भारत में वैसे सभी स्थानों पर कम्प्युटर दिखते हैं। परन्तु मैं जिन संस्थाओं से जुडा हूँ, वहाँ कम्प्युटर को महत्त्व नहीं दिया जाता, क्योंकि पारम्परिक पद्धति से पुस्तक से ही पढाई होती है और पुस्तक में लिखकर ही असाइन्मेन्ट दिया जाता है। ऐसे में कभी कभी वें कम्प्युटर या मोबाईल को छू पाते हैं। होस्टेल में तो उनका मोबाईल वोर्डन को जमा करवाना पडता है। ऐसे में बहुत बडा गेप आने स बच्चे बहुत कुछ भूल जाते हैं। | The fourth problem was hostel children without technological knowledge - Computers are seen in all the places in India. ये समस्या मुझे बहुत परेशान कर गई। क्योंकि बहुत से बच्चे अपने आईडी पासवर्ड भूल गये। जब मैं प्रशिक्षण देकर आडी बनवा रहा था, तब मैंने उनको कहा था कि आपका इमेल आईडी डालना क्योंकि पासवर्ड रिसेट करने में काम में आयेगा। परन्तु जब मैं कुछ समय के पश्चात् गया तो पता चला बच्चे आडी पासवर्ड भूल गये हैं, ऊपर से कुछ लोगों ने इनमें इमेल आईडी डाले ही नहीं थे। तो कुछ तो रिट्रिव ही नहीँ हो पाए। और मेरा यह पहला अनुभव रहा, जहाँ लोग अपना आडी पासवर्ड भूल गये और इमेल भी नहीं दिया। भविष्य में मैं ध्यान रक्खुंगा कि उनको अच्छे से समझाउ पर साथ साथ यह ध्यान भी रक्खुं कि उनका आई डी क्या है। साथ ही उन्होंने इमेल आईडी डाला है या नहीं। परन्तु जो एक्सिडेन्ट के पश्चात् विलम्ब हुआ, वो पासवर्ड रिसेट करने में और आडी खोजने में लोगों को एकसाथ लाने में चला गया। सेमेस्टर बदल जाने के पश्चात् बहुत सी समस्याएँ देखी मैंने। आगे यदि एक स्थान विकिपीडिया के लिये हो जाए, तो लोगों को वहाँ बुलाना सरल हो सकता है। साथ ही कोम्प्युटर यदि वहाँ रहे, तो कभी भी विकिपीडिया के लिये प्रशिक्षण दिया जा सकता है। |
Forgetting ID password etc.
This problem troubled me a lot. Because many children forgot their ID password. When I was making their IDs by giving training, I had told them to enter their email ID as it would be useful in resetting the password. But when I went after some time, I found out that the children had forgotten their ID passwords, moreover some people had not entered their email IDs in them. So some could not be retrieved. And this was my first experience, where people forgot their ID passwords and did not even give the email. In future, I will take care to explain to them properly but at the same time I will also keep in mind what their ID is. Also, whether they have entered their email ID or not. But the delay that happened after the accident was spent in resetting the password and finding the ID and bringing people together. After the semester changed, I saw many problems. In the future, if there is a place for Wikipedia, then it will be easy to call people there. Also, if the computers are there, training for Wikipedia can be given at any time. |

१) १०० लेखों का निर्माण करवाया। २) लोगों को विकिपीडिया की नीतियों क विषय में और उस आदर्श विचार के प्रति प्रेरित किया, जो भाषाप्रेम के कारण विकिपीडिया में सम्पदान करने मे सहायक होता है। ३) विकिपीडिया में लेख लिखने की पद्धति और पंचशील के उपयोग से कैसे आर्टिकल बनते हैं, ये एक बहुत बडा कार्य है। अब आगे उनको कोई साधन मिल पाया और उनको अवरित ये करवाया गया, तो अवश्य ही विकिपीडिया को अच्छे सम्पादक मिल पाएंगे। ४) उनको कोमन्स् का उपयोग करना सिखाया और विकिस्रोत में से पुस्तक को पढना ही सिखाया है। इन दोनों विषयों में आगे जाकर उनको अधिक प्रशिक्षण दिया जा सकता है। कोमन्स् में १०० से अधिक योगदान इस कार्यशाळा के समय हुए हैं। |
Briefly, the results
1) 100 articles were created. 2) People were inspired about Wikipedia policies and the ideal idea that helps in contributing to Wikipedia due to love for the language. 3) The method of writing articles in Wikipedia and how articles are created using Panchsheel is a very big task. Now if they get any resources and are made to do this, then surely Wikipedia will get good editors. 4) They were taught to use Commons and read books from Wikisource. They can be given more training in both these subjects in future. More than 100 contributions have been made to Commons during this workshop. |

I have organized a zoom call and tell all present members that, all the time work with projector and try to establish Computer lab for our region, so we can move some component from one institute to another. We shoud focus on Net services too. As some places still not get proper internet connection. I told them that always work offline file first and than bring them online, otherwise new person can make mistakes and we have to lookafter it, so we may create trouble for self only.
