Part 1 Understanding your work[edit]

1. Briefly describe how your proposed activities and strategies were implemented

In April and October 2023, Wikipedia Bungaku was held. In the morning, participants visited the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature to view a special exhibition and listen to a curator's explanation. In the afternoon, at the Kanagawa Prefectural Library, the students received an explanation about Wikipedia and a lecture on how to edit articles from the lecturer, then researched materials and edited Wikipedia articles.

2. Were there any strategies or approaches that you felt were effective in achieving your goals? Please describe these strategies and approaches.

We were able to deepen our understanding of the people and issues to be edited by visiting the special exhibition at the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature and listening to the curator's explanations.

The librarian at the Kanagawa Prefectural Library collected materials on the people and issues to be edited in advance, so we were able to edit articles using a wealth of materials.

The list of literature researched and collected in advance was shared with the participants to help them write their research.

Participants with extensive editing experience helped beginners and allowed them to contribute edits for the first time.

3. Please use this space to upload media and other files that help tell your story and impact.
