During the grant period, we successfully ran a series of community engagement activities, building on the success of community members who contributed to creating the Fante Wikipedia (fat.wikipedia.org). These activities included in-person and online training workshops and a "Trainers Refreshing Training" program.

We held six in-person workshops in Takoradi, Cape Coast, and Winneba, where community members actively participated and learned about Wikimedia projects. These workshops provided valuable insights and essential training, empowering participants to contribute effectively.

Additionally, we organized four online events to discuss projects, provide updates, and assist community members. These events facilitated collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants, improving their understanding of Wikimedia projects.

Our two-day "Trainers Refreshing Training" program focused on enhancing the leadership skills of selected community team leaders. This program aimed to empower team leaders with the skills and knowledge to guide and support community members in their Wikimedia contributions.

These activities significantly engaged community members, increasing awareness and contributions to Wikimedia projects. Both in-person and online workshops effectively engaged diverse participants, while the "Trainers Refreshing Training" program boosted leadership skills.

We effectively raised awareness about Wikimedia projects through targeted outreach and engagement strategies. We learned the importance of clear communication and sustained engagement in managing and establishing partnerships.
