The set objective and purpose is to maximize community engagement activities towards content creation, curation through various initiatives, and to sustain, collaborate with academic institutions and organizations interested in supporting Hausa Wiktionary, and to increase a reliable content in Hausa Wiktionary to the best standard. During the six months grant period we implemented a series of impactful activities, series of in-person refresher trainings/meet-up was conducted after every two months. six online events were conducted that facilitate project discussions, providing insights on upcoming developments, participants were assisted through mentorship. practical editathons was particularly effective, as it enabled participants to apply their knowledge immediately, solidifying their skills and increasing a significant number of new and improved words, particularly on Hausa Wiktionay and Commons, thereby enhancing the content quality and reliability. The scheduled has enable editors carry out assignment/task, and participated in online courses and participate in in-person events. Mentorship and support provided to community members through team leaders and the academic lecturers keynotes has yield a positive result. Also keeping in contact with participants and communication has made the community engage and motivated, a hard copy (Kamus) Hausa Dictionary, brochure and other resources build capacity of editors in comprehending editing commands and skills in content contribution.
A contest was carried out from inception instead of the last four weeks to give participants a equal opportunities. Winners were awarded gift vouchers and online certificates for their relentless contribution.

- Collaborating with our host academic institution Hausa Language Department of Kaduna State University and the support of NCPUG/Wiki sound audio campaign has impacted in making Wiktionary as a resource tool in academic endeavors. A Hausa Wiktionary fan/editing hub is established on the Campus.
- We are highly optimistic we have establish a resilient team of volunteers that are equip with skills and knowledgeable on different ways to contribute to Wikimedia and are interested in contributing as they understand the concept of community ownership.
- A survey was conducted on participants views, opinion on the quality, reliability of words that are existing In Hausa Wiktionary , what points they felt were strong or weak and how to improve the content. The outcome, opinions was utilize and integrated during the project implementation processes.
- Hausa Wiktionary contents was extensively created, improved to the standard grammatical structure and vocabulary in other to serve as a resource educational tool. approaches used are series of refresher trainings that enhance capacity and skills of editors, used of standard resources such as (kamus) dictionary both hard copy and online sources, guidelines and brochure, couple with mentorship by professional Hausa linguistic of the institution.

We learn community members are willing to contribute with proper guidance and support and follow up. Conducting the in-person/meetup event within an academic environment has brought the participants to new dimension and opportunities. Participants have shown motivation to use their initiatives in content creation. We are delighted on how the academic community support us as partners in progress, both the organizing team and editors learn immensely throughout the project time and are showing prospect of implementing the knowledge acquired.

We will share our project training materials and results with other community members to learn from our activities and engagements, both on Wiki pages and our social media platforms. Adapting events and program dashboard is little tricky in aggregating new and existing words, partcipants work on new words and repeatedly improved them to the best standard quality and reliability. Editors encounter issue of reverting lexemes words in Wikidata with response that words meaning are not similar to articles so words are only added in the description section in Wikidata. We hope to adapt other tools that can help aggregate content precisely, we are glad to have assistance on tools to be used in future activities.
