Lors de la campagne Shesaid 2024 au Sénégal, nous avons eu à organiser plusieurs activités pour faire connaitre le projet, amener les gens à participer et des editathons pour leur montrer comment contribuer sur Wikiquote et participer au concours. Nous avons eu à participer au festival Kimpavita grâce à notre partenariat avec la Bibliothèque Nomad, ce qui nous a donné plus de visibilité ; Nous avons eu un deuxième partenariat avec la bibliothèque centrale de l’université Cheikh Anta Diop ou nous avons fait un atelier en présentiel Enfin, nous avions organisé deux webinaires de contribution

Wikiquote étant un projet moins connu du public sénégalais, cette campagne nous a permi de faire connaitre la plateforme Wikiquote et d’y apporter des contributions remarquables. Nous avons également profité de ce projet pour mettre en avant les citations de femmes sénégalaises influentes dans la littérature, la science, entrepreneuriat, etc. Nous avons boosté des contributeurs à participer à l’amélioration de Wikiquote et à impliquer les nouveaux wikimédiens à s’intéresser davantage à ce projet collaboratif.

Nous avons eu une collaboration avec la bibliothèque Nomad, qui est un collectif bien connu qui fait la promotion de la lecture au Sénégal. Ils nous ont invités à partager leur stand à la Kimpavita qui est un festival féministe et écoresponsable qui s'organise à Dakar chaque année et qui regroupe des milliers de femmes et personnes intéressées par ces domaines. Cette collaboration nous a permis d'avoir la visibilité de la campagne Shesaid mais aussi de notre association Wikimedia Sénégal. Nous avons également eu le partenariat avec la bibliothèque centrale de l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop, qui est une bibliothèque de renom au Sénégal. Cela nous a aussi permis d’avoir plus de crédibilité.

Nos plans pour partager ce que nous avons appris sont nombreux. Premièrement, cette campagne nous a permis de mieux nous former sur Wikiquote, ou nous avons maîtrisé les bases et la mode avancée. Nous pourrons donc continuer à former notre communauté et les communautés de la sous région à utiliser cette plateforme à travers des webinaires de partage d'expériences.

Deuxièmement, nous avons déjà commencé le partage d'expériences en terme de partenariat avec notre communauté pour reproduire le même modèle dans l'organisation des autres projets Wiki au Sénégal.

Nous avons publié les résultats, remis les prix aux gagnants et partagé sur nos réseaux sociaux des visuels retraçant l'histoire du concours au Sénégal. L'une des organisatrices a également été invitée à partager son expérience dans un article publié sur Diff (https://diff.wikimedia.org/fr/2024/10/20/interviews-de-la-5e-edition-de-shesaid-4-adjovi-essenam-fumey/ ) . Nous avons aussi réalisé de petites capsules vidéo pour permettre au participant.e.s de partager leurs expériences que nous avons partagé sur nos réseaux sociaux.
