From this project, we learned that several environmental issues aside from Climate Change is affecting the Nigerian environment, especially for the oil producing regions were oil spillage and illegal oil bunkering is rampant. From the project, we observed that many Youths are willing to help tackle environmental issues if they are empowered.

7. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities? This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences?

We were amazed and encouraged by the number of persons willing to volunteer to address environmental issues. The turnout was amazing.

8. How do you hope to use this learning? For instance, do you have any new priorities, ideas for activities, or goals for the future?

Given the responses, attention and support from this project, we hope to expand this campaign to reach other regions so as to increase the environmental literacy levels of Nigerians. This will be helpful in addressing environmental challenges in the region.
