The Wiki Loves Africa 2024 in Burundi helped to enrich the Wikimedia Commons with photos shooted in Burundi by burundi wikimedia volunteers. The proposed activities were intended to contribute to the Wiki Loves Africa 2024 photo contest with photos relating to the theme of the year "Africa Create" which they could upload on Wikimedia Commons.

Yes, community members shooted photos related the the theme in Buurndi, and uploaded the photos on Commons. The uploaded photos ore of good quality, enven though there are some photos with improvable quality. The uploaded photos are useful for Wikimedia projects in general, and for Wikipedia particularly. The organized contest were useful to recruit new members for wikimedia community in Burundi. During the campaign, a total of 637 photos were uploaded to the Common.
