La retención de participantes fue efectiva ya que muchos de los participantes tuvieron interés en participar de futuros eventos relacionados con la temática así como pensar en iniciativas de incluir a los proyectos Wikimedia cómo fuente fiable de información

1. Se establecieron objetivos claros y realistas para el proyecto y se les comunicó a los participantes de forma clara y sencilla.
- 2. Se incentivó la participación mediante sistemas de recompensas a los usuarios más activos.
- 3. Se establecieron grupos de trabajo para realizar actividades colaborativas que fomentaron el intercambio de ideas y la participación activa.
- 4. Al haber contactado a los participantes a través de múltiples canales de comunicación (WhatsApp, Telegram, Email) aumentó el interés y la participación de nuevos usuarios. Eso trajo como consecuencia que se formara una comunidad de usuarios activos que están disponibles para atender las necesidades de otros usuarios y que trabajen juntos para mejorar los proyectos Wikimedia
- 5. El equipo de organizadore siempre estuvo al pendiente de la actividad en la plataforma y respondian a las dudas de los usuarios. Del mismo modo, se diseñaron tutoriales y guías prácticas para ayudar a los usuarios a comprender mejor cómo utilizar wikidata y cómo contribuir al proyecto.

Se comprendió bastante la ausencia de comunidad venezolana en los proyectos Wikimedia; no tienen herramientas suficientes para su continúa edición. Este evento nos mostró que el método más adecuado y sencillo para atraer a las personas a contribuir a Wikidata es la difusión adecuada y multicanal de contenido asociado al proyecto: guías, planes, etc. Esto es el germen que permitirá la organización de más eventos de este tipo en el país.
A su vez, realizar constantemente estás actividades permite nutrir el conocimiento sobre los proyectos Wikimedia y diversas acciones de difusión, no únicamente editando
