Part 1 Understanding your work[edit]
1. Briefly describe how your proposed activities and strategies were implemented
延續自2015年以來的策略，舉辦第七屆以亞洲為主題的編輯寫作競賽，以提升全球不同語言維基百科中，以亞洲相關的條目數量與內容。我們於2022年的9月開始建立活動元頁面，並在10月發出焦點主題投稿邀請，在宣傳部份，透過messmessage向過去各百科的主辦者，廣邀全球社群參與主辦賽事，並建有主辦者可自行報名的清單頁面，社群透過這些頁面即能清楚明瞭今年有哪些語言的賽事正在發生；另外也有透過既有的Telegram社群發布重要消息。
為了吸引更多的參加者，2022年首度將得分門檻調整為無需新建條目，舊條目有3,000位元的有效編輯，也能獲得積分。賽事期間也從原定的11月整個月份，改為在11月至12月之間，自由選擇連續的30天，給予不同社群更多的彈性。
在統計面向，最終社群得以採用Outreachdashboard或Fountaintool來統計，由於Outreachdashboard第一次被建議在亞洲月編輯賽事中採用，我們也製作了相對應的使用說明文件，提供社群參考。
過往實體明信片的獎勵，也自今年開始改為數位星章，在賽事結束後，蒐集各百科主辦者所統計的可獲星章者名單，由國際團隊透過Messmessage統一發出，已於2023年3月完成所有星章。
後續在4-6月間，我們進行了問卷調查以及深度訪談，來了解社群對今年賽事規則改變以及對亞洲月寫作競賽的整體建議，並納入未來舉辦賽事的參考。

整體而言，自2015年以來維持的執行策略，以及於2022年賽事調整的執行策略，都有所成效。特別以今年來說，過去為4個“新建”條目的規則，更改為無論新舊條目皆可以算分，是一個顯著的有效策略，一部分來自於亞洲月自2015年舉辦以來，對於非亞洲區域的社群來說，找到一個新的條目主題難度已經越來越高，此項規則的更改，也能鼓勵社群針對既有條目的內容擴增和品質提升進行貢獻。
而在焦點主題面向，根據我們向社群所投放的問卷結果，多數人認同焦點主題能夠帶給編輯者編輯方向的建議，並提高參與編輯的意願。

6. In your application, you outlined your learning priorities. What did you learn about these areas during this period?
學習一：亞洲各地社群缺乏代表的社群能量如何，是否足以支撐我們評估已經十分輕鬆的工作？ 亞洲缺乏代表的社群並沒有參與最簡單的籌備工作：提供一個他們關心的主題做為焦點主題。這個結果並不代表這樣的社群參與不足，可能的原因還有：1.這個新的模式還難以被理解如何參與、2.徵件的訊息沒有成功引起他們的注意、3.徵件訊息不足以引發動機。
學習二：亞洲的編輯者是否有特別著重的主題？ 今年是第一年舉辦焦點主題，有鑒於社群或許還不太熟悉這個新的規則，因此焦點主題的投稿數量不如預期。活動結束後，我們也透過量化的問卷，搜集主辦者與編輯者對於這些規則調整的看法，實際上超過七成的編輯者都認為焦點主題帶來正向的編輯引導，也期待在未來看到更多建議編輯主題，在兩場深度訪談中，也獲得與問卷調查同樣的迴響。
