Wikipedia Awareness in Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil (KUST) went successful, all the target were achieved and am very happy on haw the program goes on

1. Hard working looking at the wikipedia is a free knowledge contributions not all people feel confort in editing wikipedia, so hard working serve as a strong tools of seeing this project comes into life.
2.motivation another approach that I follow to achieve my goals is motivation,I really motivate myself and my participants to know the value of knowledge contribution and also promoting Fulfulde language through Wikipedia
3.wikipedia as means of studying I really shape my participants to use Wikipedia as means of study, considering 95% of my project participants are students.

Yes off course Participant are not a simple task to brings together looking at wikipedia is a free knowledge contributions. I use so much effort in motivating my participants to understand the value of knowledge contribution and only that can be achieved by editing wikipedia.

Part 2: Your main learning[edit]

6. In your application, you outlined your learning priorities. What did you learn about these areas during this period?

I learned a lot of things: Creating articles and improve some existing once in wikipedia together with my team members, and also we take part in uploading native Fulfulde photos in wiki commons, we connect some of the articles to wiki data. The expirennce is awesome and we are all happy with how the project goes on.

7. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities?This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences?

Yes off course Many people show there interest In participating in the program beyond my expectations, this is part of experience I have gained during the events.

My Second experience is during the Faculty and department visitation some students complain to me about some of the Articles in wikipedia have not been adequately writen, though I have fully explain to them that wikipedia is an open learning and contributing environment where everybody around the globe have the same opportunity to give his  contributions.

8. How do you hope to use this learning? For instance, do you have any new priorities, ideas for activities, or goals for the future?

Yes Off course We plan to host another wikipedia training on the campus to revise our existing editors and recruit another new editors, i believe this will strongly encourage them and at same time improve their skills and knowledge in editing wikipedia.
