February[edit]
In February I was mostly busy with the audit and the edit-a-thon configuration wizard. I have also implemented a new type of evaluation control that allows the jury to type the number of points within a predefined range. It has solved the problem with edit-a-thons that assign 1 point for every X kilobytes or words.
March[edit]
The edit-a-thon configuration wizard proved to be a difficult task as I needed to do two things: to implement the currently existing configuration potential and to thoroughly explore the caveats in unregulated creating, editing and deleting edit-a-thons. For example, what happens if someone creates hundreds of edit-a-thons with offensive names? Or what should the Fountain do if a Jury member started to add comments with racial slur? After having multiple discussions with fellow wikipedians I've decided to give Wikipedia administrators some elevated rights, such as to delete edit-a-thons.

Rationale[edit]
As I have explained in my Midpoint report, there are two reasons to request an extension. First, I didn't understand how reviewing works in Grants, second, I have slowed down considerably (it turned out I can't work for 60 hours per week effectively, ie 40 work hours + 20 grant hours -- what a surprise). Taking it all into account and to play safe I request 4,5 more months hoping to finish earlier. Le Loy 01:05, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
