• What worked well?

1. I found this resource very very useful.
2. Spacing events significantly by weeks gave room for adequate preparation and implementation of feedback
3. Participants loved the Wikipedia shirts

• What did not work so well?

1. Vendor arrangements definitely needs improvement
2. Some of the intending participants could not participate because they had to leave town at some point during the course of the project life span
3. Did not make plans for a nursing mother participant (Thankfully there was little room in the Miscellaneous funds)

• What would you do differently next time?

1. Perhaps a combination of physical and online events
2. Ask participants for any special requests to aid participation e.g Creche

• Rental - $155 x 4 Events = $620 = ₦235000
• Food and drinks - $120 x 4 Events = $480 = ₦183000
• Internet - $70 x 4 events = $280 = ₦106 000
• Purchase of hand sanitizer= $50 = ₦19000
• Wikimedia merchandise (branded shirts) - $30 X 8 = $240 = ₦91000
• Miscellaneous = $50 = ₦19000 (logistics, taxis, bank charges, etc)

Total = $1720 = 653000

Remaining funds have been used or will be used for other approved mission-aligned activities. This use has been requested in writing and approved by WMF.

Anything else

Anything else you want to share about your project? This was my very first project and i thoroughly enjoyed organising it. Also, i have improved my skills greatly and made new and exciting friends. Take a look at my project page.
