Learning[edit]
Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
Having a virtual follow up was a good idea. I was able to get feedback from both the particpants, the team members, and other eexperienced editors that contributed with the success of the events.
- What did not work so well?
Earlier, they was an issue of miscommunication as I had to manage over 16 experienced editors who volunteered to assist with training. Luckily, we were able to sort it out and find better ways to communicate despite conflicting schedules.
- What would you do differently next time?
Next time, I would probably hold the events with a few days in between. For some participants, holding both events consecutively felt like a worskop while they needed more time to understand and practice what they learnt.

Refreshments (Tea break, and lunch) for 2 days event: Kwasu - $12.00 x 32 = $386.5, Lasu - 10.2 x 75 = $765, Unilag - $10 x 28 = $285.6 - Total = $1,444.00
Internet and services: Internet Subscription for participants - $6.00 x75 = $450.00
Administration and fees: This will support the team for their internet/gift voucher = $350.00
Logistics and space Conference Room/Hall for 2 events - $244/2 =$488
Merchendize: Swags for participants (Jotters, pen, stickers etc)- $10.00 x 75 = $750.00
Travel and accommodation: Accommodation for one organizer that will be going to the 3 campuses - $40.00 x 3 = $120.00
Equipment and tools:Rental of camera, projector and public address system for 3 events = $145
Communications and materials: Branding and Promotion for the three Campuses tour - $50.00 x 3 = $150.00
Equipment and tools: Hand Sanitizer and nosemasks - $25.00 x 3 = $75.00
Contingency = $13.00
