Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

The mode of lecturing and communication with the editors was a great deal, as we had moments of thoughts sharing about the misuse of drugs and how best information can be managed using wikipedia. We can not but mention the synergy that the project brought to like minded ones. This brought about an on going plan 2022 to having like project at Ogbomosho, Oyo state Nigeria

  • What did not work so well?

Sadly, we had issues with our awareness. We projected for Elites in the Health sector, having reaached top players in the field of health but could only have Students of the University community in attendance. This really tell on the flow of execution of the project.

  • What would you do differently next time?

In the mist of the challenge, we could learn and have started putting to practice, the need to engage Leaders in the Location of Project. This have be discovered to be achievable through consistent physical visitation to the such Leader till adequate awareness is seen

Finances

Jotters, Pens and Stickers. $114.74 $97.8 Souvenirs given to all participants

3. Explain how your outcome compares with the original target. Did you reach your targets? Why or why not? ---> The outcome of the project is good when period of execution is put to consideration. Also, the call of an Higher institution to have such project really encouraged the team.

Despite this, we could have gotten more results if we pushed more on a one on one contact with the participants. This could not be achieved because of the turn out of participants was out of the plan (talking of more of students who were in season). This had because a bonus in lesson to us as we have started plans to answer the call of the Higher institution

Remaining funds

[edit]

Do you have any remaining grant funds?

Remaining funds are retained by the grantee with WMF's permission until after the report review has been completed and report has been accepted, at which time the WMF program officer will also provide instructions regarding the grantee's reallocation or return of the unspent grant funds.

Yes, we have the sum of N141,500 | $345.43 We would like to use the remaining fund on starting a new fan club at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, an higher institution in Oyo state, Nigeria. Works had begun towards this direction. The plan is to engage both staffs and students of the institution. Tentatively, the club should be live first week of March.
